Bloc party were pretty dang sick last night, it was an interesting night to say the least with the first gig since I've been at uni in a venue larger than a shed which made a something of welcome change and didn't dilute the atmosphere of it at all. In terms of performance i would have preferred a bit more of silent alarm as the only song i remember them playing off it was 'modern love', but meh you can 't have it all & they did play this:
Which was an absolute treat, not sure why there's not a proper video other than this weird drawing thing above but to quote the great men themselves 'if that's the way it is, then that's the way it is' ( ehrrmm cheese).
Anyways the weekend of good music continues with Frank Turner tonight at the student union with household drinking commencing at 5 o'clock, it promises to be a good'un.
