annnnd.

I intend to attend this in a couple of weeks if I'm not serving pimms at lords for a measly 6.50 an hour, i should be on at least 8 quid this is the home of British cricket after all. Moaning aside I'm not a student in London nor do i live anywhere near fabric but a rad party in a rad club is a rad party in a rad club right?
not pendulums biggest fan but the opportunity to dance like a pill head circa 1992 with sweaty girls from UCL in day glow leggings is way to strong for me to resist. I'm a freak, i know. Gonna have to sleep on the platform at waterloo though, you can't buy fun like that now can you?

Harmonic generator?

Been listening to the first datsuns album recently, its really really good takes me back a fair way i think i was like 12 or 13 when it came out don't reckon i appreciated it all that much back then though. I often wonder what happened to them, they've had four albums but nothing since comes close to the first, i intended to say something profound about first albums always being the best but my mind is already seizing up from doing nothing apart from drink recently, guess i need some stimulation of some kind.

on another note i finally got to hear 'the weekend isn't over' by Bloc Party and all i have to say is that their should definitely be an album between weekend in the city and intimacy.amazing.

Whats the opposite of intimacy? distance?

I have to admit I'm not usually a fan of remixed albums, particularly of albums i really enjoyed as invariably there just not quite as good. However this one is different my personal highlight being the Armand Van Helden remix of 'signs', dare i say its better than the original? But yeah I'm not sure where you could pick this up, i went all illegal and got it off a friend but for those of you actively trying to save the record industry im sure itunes has it and if not you can definitely listen to it on spotify. Seriously though get your hands on a copy of this it just might make your evening.

Big love, peas.

P.S if anyone knows where to get 'the weekend isn't over' b side by bloc party please comment underneath as i cann'e find it anywhere.

Why travel?

I remember seeing this ad when i first started riding i must have been about 15 or thereabouts, anyways its just always stuck in my mind. pretty true to my life i suppose.

Nozzers galore.

Levi's® BMX Team Mix 2009 - More BMX Videos

Thought this was pretty sweet, im always a bit puzzled by why levis have a bmx team but they do make some pretty sweet jeans and a have killer team so i reckon their probably here to stay for a good while. In all honesty if they weren't at least £60.00 a pair i wouldnt mind wearing them. Anyways i digress from the point some sick stuff on here and all shot in beautiful Californian sunshine, if nothing else they've certainly got their aesthetics bang on, it even comes in HD for the more technologically advanced, ged'on.

oh and what is it with the nose manual, this years luc-e? reckon all the cool kids are gonna be running 5 headset spacers and landing on their face alot in 2009. Maybe an NHS dentist is gonna be a must have this coming year. reckon ill stick with the back wheel variety though, partly due to my inability to to lean more than 10 degrees over the bars and partly due to a desire to keep the 1 an a half front teeth i currently own.

Ham on cunt

Just finished reading this, I've always liked Bukowski's writing and i have to say this is one of the best books I've ever read. However ive come to the conclusion that if this book is as autobiographical as everyone says, then Bukowski was probably a bit of a cunt if im being honest, thought the ending could have been less obscure as well. Although im pretty sure its just me as he's known as one of the greatest writer- poets ever and i write a shitty blog with poor grammar that about five people read. All in all a pretty saweeet read definately saved me from four hours of train related boredom, although in the words of a certain well known bands song about the man himself 'who would wanna be such an asshole?'.
