Terminal stupidity.

Today is a melancholy one.

I've lost someone i never fully had in the first place but adored nonetheless.

bummer.

Luckily i've got the nasally, sock puppet tones of Mr Morrissey, some jim bean and plenty of snow to make a bad situation better.

A must...

Falmouth or Bristol is calling, i seriously cannot hype this band enough. My only complaint is that if the tour was a month later i could have a sweet pseudo teenage birthday night. Which reminds me being 20 is disgustingly close, before i get there i would like to achieve the following:

-Pull at least 5 whoppers to pedals, toptube, seat... actually so long as i get my size 10's in there somewhere I'll be happy.

-Shoot at least 4 rolls 120mm film on the holger I'm buying of my housemate when i finally get back to uni.

-Make it back to uni.

-Have sex sober for a refreshing change.

-Buy/steal/haggle some addidas samba's I've always wanted some of these badboys for general riding and jamming in.

-Find someone willing, or silly enough to have sex sober with me.(Its been months and I'm really beginning to worry)

-eat plenty of houmus.

-Get a sweet refillable lighter, oh and smoke from a Bolivian pipe.

Step into my office baby...

Belle and Sebastian, you make rainy days worthwhile.

and in England's equivalent to Atlantic City it looks as if the prime skatepark is finally getting there:

Apparently the mighty midget Martyn Tambling has taken over building, so the skaterboardish nightmare of 1,000 foot high flat rails and 3 foot 'mini ramps' looks like its been averted. I'm looking forward to sessioning this badboy a fair bit when I get back to England's wettest city in late January.

Oh and my New Years Eve nighmare of Rab C. Nesbitt, family charades and glass bowls of KP penuts has also been successfully avoided. A night out in Brick Lane is our decided destination, so barring any daily mail esq stabbings or shootings we should have an amazing NYE for once.

and happy 2010 to you all.

Creatively untitled.

Oh and my possible favourites for early 2010 are Phoenix, Blood orange and Wray n' Nephew, 65 % of pure rummy goodness.

Year of the wolf?

Why oh why is every film/TV show/book recently about vampires? Think I'm exaggerating? twilight, daywalkers, true blood, underworld and about a million other things that i can neither remember nor be bothered to search for on google, which probably makes this post seem like pointless shit but hey if 'impatience' is a virtue so is laziness and indifference. So i think instead the whole tired concept of vampires should be binned and we should go for wolf's instead, true everyone couldn't cream themselves over a big hairy wolf like they seem too over Robert Pattinson but a wolf would be infinately more badass. Why hasn't peter and the wolf been adapted by tim burton and given an amazing soundtrack by like Albert Hammond Jr or even better Patrick wolf? i see a money spinner there.

Here's a boy who certainly isn't a vampire but may well be a wolf, its that time of year when carpark sessions are about all we get in the way of riding so i guess it was only a matter of time before someone made an edit of one. I liked this though its fairly well shot considering it was Alex's first attempt and he was working alone (like a lone wolf), there's definately some badass wolf in the boy.

The great blizzard of 2009?

This is a treat, last slam is nuts as well. Looks like new years eve has gone to shit as well now motion is sold out, looks like our only hope of a good night is heading to London and taking out a bank loan in the process. At this rate ill be spending it drinking ale and watching Rab C N.esbitt with the old man.

I really really hope not.

Old and apprehensive.

About how undoubtedly dire working at 'winter wonderland' in Hyde Park all weekend is gonna be. The thought of hundreds of happy families ice skating around eating hot doughnuts whilst i freeze my tits off at the bar fills me with dread, but ah well that's tomorrow.

This is probably my favourite song on the seven seas at the moment, its a treat.

I think I'm going through an early retiree stage as all I've been listening to lately is Bruce Springsteen and Johnny cash. Clearly i should have been a child of the fifties, ah well i always wanted some kind of enigmatic title like 'old before his time', makes me seem world wizened.

Oh and the photo is from probably the best meal i've had since my decision to forfeit comfort and food and go to uni a year and a half ago.
