Decisions,decisions…
Ive been considering moving uni recently, i want to live in a bigger city with a better music scene and stuff, im kinda looking at leeds, london, sheffield and brighton at the moment.but at the same time i love the people ive met in plymouth and the uni here is pretty sweet, ive decided to make a list of for & against. Im well aware this is probably of no interest to anyone and its kinda a personal choice but i really can’t decide so im gonna do it anyway.
Reasons to stay:
-Living by the sea is amazing, i can pretty much go for a swim or to a beach whenever i like and cornwall is on my doorstep- which is fookin mint.
-Its a lot warmer down here than anywhere else in the country.
-The riding scene is pretty good even if central skatepark is shit.
-The nightlife is pretty good for clubs and bars, and the music is really good for d&B/dubstep.
-I’ve made so many friends here 5 of whom i already have a housing contract with.
-my parents will be livid at another example of my indecisivness, leading to months of kitchen silences.
-Its Cheap!
-Exeter has a good music scene and its a mere £4 on the train, bristol is close too.
-and last but not least the whole thing will mean uprooting my life again and loads of hassle.
Reasons to go:
-Ive always wanted to live in London
-Ive always wanted to live in sheffield/leeds
-Better music scene/more to do in all these cities.
-Would be easier to get some kind of journalisitc experience in london.
-The constant rain in plymouth
-better riding in all these cities
- leeds is far cheaper than plymouth 80p a pint!
-plymouth is not exactly what i expected.
-i intended to move to london as soon as uni was done anyway!
What to do?
