Hell'uva good.

Brighton Session from mike king on Vimeo.

You gotta love Mike king, dudes been making videos since ive been riding and we're the same age! I love how his edits seem to get better every time i watch one, in fact i can even go far enough to say i look foward to them without getting my nose too brown. The other thing i love is that the music always seems to be spot on, just how a video section should be. right ive officially got more waffle than birdseye, so ill stop.

big love.

oh and check out his website, http://www.ffwdbmx.com/ some mega stuff on there.

Rad Weekend Mark 2

Twas the lovely Josie's coming of age on saturday, eneviatably we got mashed & went to sample the delights of Basingstokes circuit of disgustingly expensive bars (spoons, llyods and tonic) despite this i still had a rad time, mostly due to a few wray & nephews and the company. My personal highlight however was discovering the average house key can be used to start a cherrypicker on the way home, some 30 f00t fun was had even if sticks is a little dangerous at the controls of such a beast to say the least. Although things were somewhat ruined this morning when i realised that my £40 train return to Uni was now a blank piece of ripped up paper after some drunken laundry at some point after i got home.not cool.

big love

Rad weekend mark 1.

Was back in the rather aptly named Amazingstoke for the bank holiday weekend, partly for the yearly mash up of Reading beer festival & partly for Josie's birthday, both being an excuse to go a bit more over the top with alcohol/my student loan than usual.
Reading beer festival is fucking amazing, i can't think of another occasion where you can get copious amounts of 10.5% beer which is designed to taste like bark or something equally as extravagent, whilst dancing to jazz music with a load of middle aged women who love & laugh at us in eqaul amounts. And best of all the samples are free so you never actaully need buy a pint. Last year's highlights included meeting Ian 'Jazz hands' Webb and his band, he was probably a terrible example of what a forty something father should be doing, but hey inbetween his sick dancing, singing & his aggy 7foot man mountain of a band mate treating us like naughty school kids we thought he was as bad ass as they come. Im Sure some photos of this year will follow but it make take some to time to establish who took what, who lost their phone/camera on the way home, so these from last year will do.

I dont think me or sparrow can even pretend to remember this photo, the combination of 10% ale, wild boar pies & jazz hands had taken its toll by this point, we were only just 18 bless us. Editors note: im not the one doing the gay 'ali g' westside thing with my fingers, although i am fiddling with myself? hmmm not sure whats better.

All i need say is Ian Webb, a diamond amongst men

I still beleive 2008 will probably go down as the best of my life, pessimistic?

When red jeans really were cool.

found this lurking on my laptop, im pretty sure i originally found out when everyone went through that stage when i was about 17, of putting childhood photos on myspace so people could ‘awwww’ and make witty remarks like ‘what happened’. But anyways despite the fact i clearly look like a bad ass in my red jeans and cardigan, i have come to the conclusion from looking at several photos that my mother clearly overfed me as a child, i was a chubby little fucker, thank the lord for growth spurts. I returned to the site of this photo the other day to watch tigres sleep in the sun, probably the worst spent £16 in a while, i guess the magic of marwell tiger pen is not indefinate. wish i knew what happened to “tigger” my orginally named stuffed tiger though, kinda miss the little guy.

peace up a town.

Thought this was pretty cool..
